The Stanley Cup is Coming to Paris!
Twin Pad Capital Campaign Brings Trophies Won by Syl Apps to Paris
(Paris, ON) On Monday, November 30 the public is invited to view the trophies that were awarded to Syl Apps during his career. He won the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy in 1942/42, the Calder Memorial Trophy in 1936/37 and played on three Stanley Cup winning teams.
As part of the Twin Pad Capital Campaign fundraising effort, these trophies will be available for public viewing at the Syl Apps Community Centre. Jay Wells, Honorary Campaign Co-chair, who played with the New York Rangers when they won the Stanley Cup in 1994, will be at the event.
