(Paris, ON) Representative from the Paris, Burford and Glen Morris Lions Clubs were on hand to present a cheque in the amount of $25,000 to the Twin Pad capital campaign.
"This gift is from three Lions Clubs in the County and the funds will come from community fundraising events," said Lions spokesperson Dwayne Budgell. "We believe that it’s important that Lions Clubs support the new Twin Pad and are pleased that we are able to participate."
One of the Paris Lions fundraising initiatives will see member Dwayne Budgell shave his head if they meet the goal of $6,000.
Mayor Ron Eddy commented, "Once again the Lions have risen to the top with their support."
