(Paris, ON)  The Cathcart Women’s Institute from Burford was pleased to present a $2,000 cheque in support of the Twin Pad Complex.

President Marion Sheridan, Secretary Donna Csonto, Treasurer Carol Force and Betty Dakos, nominator for the donation, were honoured to make the Institute's presentation to Capital Campaign Honorary Chair Jay Wells and Mayor Ron Eddy.

"It's my privilege to present this cheque on behalf of the Institute," said Carol Force.  "We are pleased to support this worthwhile community project."

Thanking them for their support, Councillor Brian Coleman, Chair of the Twin Pad Building Committee commented, "This donation is coming from the grassroots of the County of Brant.  I'm hoping your support will have a snowball affect and inspire other community organizations to support this project."

"With support from community-minded groups like the Cathcart Institute, the campaign will reach its $3.5 million goal," added Jay Wells.

If you would like to make a donation to the campaign, please contact the Campaign Office at 519-442-6324, ext. 3019 or email: fundraising@brant.ca
